Bocconcini are cherry-sized mozzarella cheese.They are often used in tomato and basil salads and pasta or Italian biscuits.
450g ground beef
2 tsp of Cajun powder
75 ml of barbecue sauce
60 ml of apple sauce
1 pinch of lemon zest
Put Bocconcini in the basket to drain.
Put beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Cajun powder, a little salt and pepper in a bowl, mix well.
Preheat the oven to 250°C.
Wrap a layer of meat on the outside of each Bocconcini. Then, place in a foil tray and bake for 8 minutes.
Mix well the barbecue sauce with apple sauce and lemon zest, heated if you like.
Drizzle the sauce over the grilled meatballs and enjoy.
