Bocconcini are cherry-sized mozzarella cheese.They are often used in tomato and basil salads and pasta or Italian biscuits.
Ingredient
450g Bocconcini
450g ground beef
70g breadcrumbs
1 egg
2 tsp of Cajun powder
75 ml of barbecue sauce
60 ml of apple sauce
1 pinch of lemon zest
Salt, pepper
Directions
Step 1 | Put Bocconcini in the basket to drain. |
Step 2 | Put beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Cajun powder, a little salt and pepper in a bowl, mix well. |
Step 3 | Preheat the oven to 250°C. |
Step 4 | Wrap a layer of meat on the outside of each Bocconcini. Then, place in a foil tray and bake for 8 minutes. |
Step 5 | Mix well the barbecue sauce with apple sauce and lemon zest, heated if you like. |
Step 6 | Drizzle the sauce over the grilled meatballs and enjoy. |
