Smoked Scamorza can be a substitute for mozzarella is many dishes but the taste is stronger than mozzarella
1 big smoked scamorza or5 little smoked scamorza cheese
60 gr or ¼ cup of all purpose flour
2 slices of ham
60 gr or ¼ of breadcrumb
Olive oil to taste
Salt to taste
Oregano to taste
Slice into ring scamorza cheese
Put flour, beaten egg and breadcrumb in three different plate.
Dip scamorza sliced first in flour, then in beaten egg and at last in breadcrumb.
Then lie dipped scamorza in a medium terracotta dish or similar and alternate scamorza and ham.
Cover with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of oregano. Then put into the oven and cook at 180 °C or 356 °F for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
